Telemundo announces premiere of “El Show de Erika Casi Late Night”

“El Show de Erika Casi Late Night” will premiere on April 6 simultaneously in the United States on mun2 and in Latin America on Telemundo Internacional pay TV channels. The series premieres in the U.S. on Sundays at 1 a.m. EST/Midnight CST on mun2, and Sundays at 10 p.m. on Telemundo Internacional in Latin America.  
 
The show will be headed by Venezuelan presenter and radio personality Erika de la Vega, recognized for her role as host of “Latin American Idol” for four seasons. She also participated in the hit movie Toy Story 3, and her previous television projects include the successful shows Ni Tan Tarde, Fama, Sudor y Lagrimas, and Diente por Diente. Recently she became the first woman to produce, direct and present her own show in Venezuela: Erika Tipo 11.
 
“The premiere and production of this show represents a major evolution for Telemundo Internacional, because it is happening the same year as the launch of our second feed for the region. Both channels, Telemundo Internacional for Latin America and mun2 for the United States, are scheduled to premiere the show simultaneously on Sunday, April 6”, said Marcos Santana, President of Telemundo Internacional.
 
Telemundo Internacional Pay TV channel reaches 21 countries in the region, and mun2 reaches 40 million households in the U.S. He also confirmed that audiences in Latin America will have access to watch the show through a second window, on the E! Entertainment Television Latinoamérica Pay TV channel for NBCUniversal, which has a presence in all countries in the region with a reach of 32 million households.
 
El Show the Erika casi late night will feature entertaining celebrity interviews in which Erika and her guests will share stories and experiences that highlight the stars’ fun and human side. Artists like Laura Flores, Aylin Mujica, Gabriel Porras, Rafael Amaya, Juan Soler, Gaby Espino, Miguel Varoni, Mónica Noguera, Chino y Nacho and famous Luchador Blue Demon, among others, will have audiences talking after they make their unholy confessions to this woman, who does not settle for conventional responses.
 
This American-style late night show, produced in Miami and Mexico by Latinos for Latinos, will include comedy sketches full of surprises with internationally renowned celebrities.
