Comprehensive coverage includes pre- and post-match shows onsite from Qatar and same-day encore presentations of each game.

Every match will feature one-hour of pre-game coverage. Following Hoy en La Copa, each match will feature the 30-minute La Previa del Partido just before kickoff. The daily coverage window will conclude with Debate Mundial, the network’s daily signature discussion, analysis and debate program airing at 4 p.m. ET every day. During the last week of the group stage, starting Tuesday, Nov. 29 and through the finale, Hoy en La Copa will begin at 9 a.m. ET.

Coverage will be anchored by soccer Hall of Famer, six-time Emmy Award-winner and chief commentator Andres Cantor with Emmy Award-winning sports journalist Miguel Gurwitz, Telemundo’s Emmy-nominated sports and entertainment host Ana Jurka, Premier League host Carlota Vizmanos and Mexican soccer icon Carlos Hermosillo as the official hosts, leading the pre- and post-game analysis from the main presentation studio located at the center of the cultural Souq Waqif Marketplace. The star-studded roster of soccer legends and experts joining Telemundo Deportes onsite will serve as guests in pre and post-game coverage and throughout World Cup programming, and join the announce teams as analysts for relevant matches.

Telemundo Deportes will leverage the proximity between stadiums to have the most comprehensive onsite footprint and make history with in-venue presence at all 64 games with commentators calling multiple matches in one day. Announce teams will include play-by-play Cantor and lead analyst former Mexican National Team player Manuel Sol; network play-by-play veteran Copán Álvarez, two-time Emmy award nominee Sammy Sadovnik, who will both be paired throughout the event with experienced sports analyst Eduardo Biscayart who has four World Cups and nine Champions League finals under his belt and accomplished. Play-by-play announcer Jorge Calvo who will be joined by a rotation of experts.

Universo will carry encore presentations of each day’s games every day beginning at 5 p.m. ET through the Quarterfinals, and later shift to a 7 p.m. ET start for the Semifinals and through the Third-Place match. The encore presentation for the Final will begin at 2 p.m. ET on Telemundo and 4:30 p.m. ET on Universo. Telemundo will carry a selection of encore presentations exclusively for the West Coast.
