Telemundo Deportes KICKS OFF 2021-22 Premier League Season

Premier League season kicks off this weekend across Telemundo platforms, beginning this Friday, August 13 with newly promoted Brentford hosting Arsenal at 3 p.m. ET, live on Universo. Coverage begins at 2:30 p.m. ET with a special La Liga Premier Extra pre-game show.

Opening Saturday on Universo will feature a triple header beginning at 7:30 a.m. ET with Manchester United hosting Leeds United, followed by Leicester City hosting Wolves who could have Raul Jimenez returning to the starting 11. Action continues as Mohamed Salah and Liverpool visit newly-promoted Norwich City at 12:30 p.m. ET.

On Sunday, defending champions Manchester City headline the action as they visit Tottenham and new head coach Nuno Espirito Santo at 11:30 a.m. ET on Telemundo. Sunday’s coverage begins with Liga Premier Extra at 10:30 a.m. ET, followed by Tottenham-Manchester City on Telemundo.

Premier League is back with a lineup of Latino stars playing across the top English clubs including Mexican Raul Jimenez with Wolverhampton, Brazilian Richarlison and Colombian Yerry Mina with Everton, Brazilians Alisson and Fabinho with Liverpool, Brazilian Gabriel Jesus with Manchester City, Argentineans Emiliano Martinez and Emiliano Buendia with Aston Villa, Colombian Davinson Sanchez and Argentineans Cristian “Cuti” Romero and Giovani Lo Celso with Tottenham, and Colombian Juan Camilo “Cucho” Hernandez with Watford, among many others.

Telemundo Deportes’ award-winning commentary team returns to lead coverage every weekend including Miguel Gurwitz, Andres Cantor, Manuel Sol, Carlos Hermosillo, Copan Alvarez and Eduardo Biscayart.

To complement the match coverage, the Emmy-nominated sports analysis show, La Liga Premier: Tercer Tiempo returns for a new season every Sunday following the weekend match action, starting this Sunday, August 15 at 1:30 p.m. ET, following the live coverage of Tottenham vs. Manchester City.
