Telemundo Deportes to broadcast FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023

As the exclusive Spanish-language home of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, Telemundo Deportes will present coverage of the Intercontinental Playoffs of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™ taking place Feb. 17-22, featuring 10 nations competing for the final three spots.

Coverage will kick off with Argentina v. Chile friendly on Friday, Feb. 17 at 1:30 a.m. ET and continue with playoff matches, including Chile v. Group B winner on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. ET and Portugal v. Group A winner on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 1:30 a.m. ET. All matches live on Universo, TelemundoDeportes.com and the Telemundo App.

Telemundo Deportes’ award-winning commentary team will provide in-depth analysis of the results, plus live reactions, analysis, and predictions for the first-of-its kind qualifying tournament. Chile will play the winner of Senegal v. Haiti, and Portugal will go head-to-head with the winner of Cameroon v. Thailand. Ana Jurka and Carlota Vizmanos will host the show with Andres Cantor and Manuel Sol calling the action that will confirm if Chile, Paraguay, and Panama will participate in soccer’s biggest tournament this summer.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™ will mark the first time 32 teams compete in the tournament. During the Final Draw, 29 teams will be placed into groups along with the three placeholders for the winners of a series of inter-confederation playoff matches.
