TELEMUNDO dominates Primetime ……

Telemundo claimed the #1 spot in Spanish-language primetime television on Monday night across all key demos, driven by the highly anticipated premiere of Velvet El Nuevo Imperio. According to Nielsen, the network delivered an impressive average of 407,000 adults 18-49, 149,000 adults 18-34, and 1.37 million total viewers, outperforming Univision by +52%, +41% and +61%, respectively.

The debut episode of Velvet El Nuevo Imperio delivered an average of 369,000 adults 18-49 and 1.29 million total viewers, positioning the romance drama as the #1 Spanish-language program in its 9pm timeslot, and marking Telemundo’s highest rated scripted premiere since El Señor de los Cielos 9 in 2024.
Additionally, La Casa de los Famosos ranked as the #1 Spanish-language show in its timeslot, delivering its most-watched episode of the season with an average of 487,000 adults 18-49, 183,000 adults 18-34, and 1.63 million total viewers. Furthermore, Telemundo’s hit reality competition outshined Univision’s premiere at 8pm by +88%, +54% and +92%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the action-packed Super Series®, La Jefa, ranked as the #1 Spanish-language show in its timeslot, delivering an average of 285,000 adults 18-49, 95,000 adults 18-34, and 941,000 total viewers.
