Telemundo feature 2008 Presidential Election insert in People en Español.

Telemundo Communications Group announced its exclusive 2008 Presidential Election insert in the October issue of People en Español, currently on newsstands. The special editorial is the latest effort in the network’s continued commitment to educating the Hispanic community about the importance of the Hispanic vote through its “Vota Por Tu Futuro” campaign. The announcement was made by Don Browne, President, Telemundo.

The issue provides readers with a 4-page Elections insert covering key topics of the presidential election provided by Telemundo and the “Vota Por Tu Futuro” campaign. The insert provides important information on the upcoming presidential election, including biographical information on each candidate and comparisons detailing the differences between the candidates on hot button issues. The branded insert also features essential information on how to register to vote and highlights on the importance of the Hispanic vote in the 2008 and future elections.

“People en Español is the perfect publication to reach a wider audience with the important message of “Vota Por Tu Futuro,” said Browne. “This is a critical moment in the history of our country and our commitment to the Hispanic community is stronger than ever. The goal of the “Vota Por Tu Futuro” initiative is to increase the number of Hispanic voters through education, encouraging Hispanics to register to vote and exercise their influence by voting in the upcoming 2008 presidential election. “Vota Por Tu Futuro” is a media-driven campaign comprised of broadcast, cable and Internet components which allows Telemundo and mun2 to reach U.S. Hispanics across all platforms.
