July 4, 2003
Telemundo announced a nationwide back-to-school schedule of local community events that will help students and their families be ready to start school with required supplies and health services. These events support the year-long efforts by the network. Working with community leaders, Telemundo focuses its efforts on education excellence for all, informing parents and students on the benefits of their schools and community medical services, and providing information on education programs for adults. Later this year and as part of the back-to-school initiative, Telemundo will also be premiering its new PSA campaign “el Poder de Saber” (the More you Know), highlighting the importance of lifelong learning for all of us to achieve our dreams.
