Telemundo Kicks Off New Sports Season.

Beginning February 2003, Deportes Telemundo will broadcast during the first week of February, La NBA en Telemundo will air LIVE two extraordinary NBA games when Philadelphia plays against Minnesota (Sunday, February 2, 3:30pm ET / 12:30 PT) and Phoenix versus Minnesota (Sunday, February 23, 3:30pm ET / 12:30pm PT). The NBA on Telemundo’s sportscasting team includes Andrés Cantor as studio host, Jessi Losada as play-by-play announcer, Edgar López, game analyst, and John Sutcliffe as the sideline reporter.

Co-hosted by Jesse Losada, NBA Max (Saturday, February 8 at 2:00PM ET/PT) will go LIVE from NBA Jam Session, and will feature guests Felipe López of the Minnesota Timberwolves among other surprises. Co-host Claudia Trejos will be reporting from the NBA’s Esquina Latina and will also make an appearance on the NBA’s special Read To Achieve program. On February 7, Claudia will make appearance on Telemundo’s morning show De Mañanita featuring All-Star lives shots from Atlanta.

Deportes Telemundo will also broadcast LIVE from Miami’s Orange Bowl (Saturday, February 8, 12pm ET/ 11am CT/ 9am PT), Argentina vs. United States. The Argentina National Soccer Team (La Selección Argentina de Futbol) will initiate a new stage in history to become one of the best soccer teams ever. The Argentina team will come to Miami to strike its power against United States as part of a tour throughout Central, South and North America.

Also on Saturday, February 8th – Titulares Telemundo’s host Jessi Losada (11pm ET / PT) will report live from Philips Arena on the events featured on All-Star Saturday night, the 3 point shootout, the slam dunk contest and the NBA Rookies vs. Sophomores game. Andres Cantor and Norberto Longo host from Miami with all related news in the world of sports.

The following day (Sunday, February 9, 11pm ET / PT) – Titulares will go live from Jam Session with Alejandro Blanco and numerous NBA guest stars.

Hosted by Leti Coo Telemundo’s dynamic and innovative show RITMO DEPORTIVO, will have an spectacular February. The 30-minute sports magazine show will air on February 8th (3pm ET/12pm PT) from Atlanta’s NBA All Star but at a Ritmo Deportivo style. The show will also visit the most popular destinations for extreme sports in Phoenix, Key West, among others.
