Telemundo post solid November sweeps.

With the results for the highly anticipated November sweep, Telemundo posted its second strongest November performance in the highly coveted viewing hours of weekday primetime among the key demo of adults 18-49 (A18-49) since Nielsen Media Research began measuring Spanish-language viewing. Telemundo averaged a 3.1 rating and a 22% share of the Spanish-viewing audience among A18-49 this November while maintaining its status as the fastest-growing network over a twelve month period from December’05 through November’06 with a 27% increase versus the same timeperiod last year.
Additionally, Telemundo’s network news Noticiero Telemundo(M-F 6:30-7:00 PM) earned high honors with this latest November results, delivering its highest ratings since 1992 as anchorman Pedro Sevcec celebrates 30 years of service as one of the country’s most trusted journalists.
Other highlights of Telemundo’s November’06 vs. November’05 performance throughout various dayparts among A18-49 include:
* Daytime programming earns a boost across various properties including +18% Cotorreando; +178% Doce Corazones, +58% Senora Leon, +38% Caso Cerrado.
* Al Rojo Vivo with Maria Celeste (M-F 5:00-6:00PM) continues to deliver solid ratings increasing 9% more impressions vs. last year (517,000 vs. 474,000).
* The telenovela La Viuda de Blanco (M-F 7:00-8:00PM) increased its ratings by 6% (3.3 vs. 3.1) and has experienced consistent monthly growth since August.
* Decisiones (M-F10:00-11:00PM) increased 3% vs. last year’s ratings (3.0 vs. 2.9).
