Telemundo to premier ‘Amor Mio’.

Telemundo announced the premiere of “Amor Mío,” the successful romantic comedy created by RGB Group in Argentina which has caught the Mexican audience by storm. The network has licensed the U.S. rights to the series from Telefe International of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Starring Raúl Araiza and Vanesa Guzmán, the series premiered on Telemundo on Wednesday, October 25 at 9PM (8pm c).

“As a world class broadcaster of Spanish-language television Telemundo is thrilled to have ‘Amor Mio’ join our prime time line up,” said Ramón Escobar, Senior Executive Vice President, Network Entertainment, Telemundo. “Telefe International’s romantic comedy is one more example of the great, high-quality, relevant programming Telemundo continues to offer to its U.S. Hispanic audience.”

“Amor Mío” tells the story of Abril (Guzmán) and Marcos (Araiza), two very different people who have a very strong bond that ties them together: their past and their parents. They met as children when Abril’s father married Marcos’ mother. Unfortunately, the kids did not get along from the beginning and their story was one of ‘hate at first sight.’ Now as adults, destiny joins them once again forcing them to share the same apartment. As expected, old rivalries surface but beyond their “irreconcilable differences” lays an attraction neither will be able to resist.

“Amor Mío” was created by Argentina’s RGB Group and produced by Cris Morena. Distributed by Telefe Internacional.
