Telemundo Premiers ‘Te Voy a Enseñar a Querer’.

A man’s struggle to find hope amidst loss and despair is at the forefront of Telemundo’s new original production “Te Voy a Enseñar a Querer.” The novela, which marks the television return of renowned actor Miguel Varoni (internationally recognized as the popular “Pedro el Escamoso”); will premiere Tuesday, August 31 at 10PM (ET/PT).

In this passion-driven drama, viewers meet Alejandro Méndez (Miguel Varoni), a successful businessman who enjoys great possessions and a beautiful family, but loses it all to the hate of his worst enemies. He meets Diana (Danna Garcia – Norma Elizondo from ratings hit “Pasión de Gavilanes”), a young and beautiful veterinarian who may hold the key to a new life for him. It is through Diana that Alejandro finds hope, but he must fight to protect it or risk losing it all again.

“‘Te Voy a Enseñar a Querer’ is a very important novela for Telemundo because it marks the network’s first original production for the 10PM time-slot; thus completing a 100% prime-time block of originally produced novelas specifically designed with our viewers in mind,” said Ramon Escobar, Executive Vice President of Programming and Production at Telemundo.

Produced in Colombia, the novela is supported by a star-studded cast including Michel Brown (Franco Reyes from “Pasión de Gavilanes) now as Pablo, Alejandro Mendez’ spoiled son; Catherine Siachoque (formerly Grazia Fontana in “La Venganza”) now as Deborah, the sexy villain viewers will love to hate; Jorge Cao (the adorable Don Martín from Pasión de Gavilanes) now as Milciades, Alejandro’s worst enemy; and introducing Martin Karpan as Luis, Deborah’s sensual young lover who will heat up the screen.

Adding to the intensity of the central theme is also a magnificent setting –a bull breeding hacienda where they are trained for bullfighting.
