Telemundo presenta the 2023 U.S. Open semifinals

U.S. Soccer and Telemundo will treat soccer fans nationwide to live Spanish-language coverage of the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup’s Semifinals exclusively on Telemundo, Universo and Peacock. Live coverage of the tournament Semifinals begins at 7 p.m. ET on Telemundo, Universo and Peacock with FC Cincinnati, the team with the best record in the MLS, hosting Inter Miami CF and Lionel Messi. The action continues at 9:30 p.m. ET on Universo and Peacock with Mexico star Héctor Herrera and the Houston Dynamo FC welcoming Real Salt Lake, a team featuring a roster with players from 10 Latin American countries.

The Semifinal broadcasts mark the first domestic Spanish-language coverage of the Open Cup since the 2018 Final and will augment the competition’s continued growth now in its 108th edition. This year’s competition has seen multiple attendance records set as well as strong viewership throughout each round of play.

Telemundo Deportes’ announce team will be led by Hall of Famer, seven-time Emmy award-winner Andres Cantor with analysis by former Mexican National Team and Chivas player Manuel Sol for FC Cincinnati vs. Inter Miami CF, while veteran commentator Copan Alvarez and former Uruguayan football player and coach Walter Roque call Houston Dynamo FC vs. Real Salt Lake.
