Telemundo presents 2023-24 PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON

Telemundo presents the 2023-24 Premier League season kickoff as the exclusive Spanish-language home of the best soccer league in the world offering audiences vast coverage of the highly anticipated season. Defending Premier League champions Manchester City and newly promoted Burnley go head-to-head for the opening match on Friday, August 11 at 3 p.m. ET with Telemundo Deportes’ pregame beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET LIVE on Universo and the Telemundo App. Premier League matches will be available exclusively in Spanish across Telemundo, Universo, Peacock and the Telemundo App all season long.

Last season, Manchester City lifted the Premier League trophy for the third consecutive season and fifth time in the past six seasons. They are seeking an unprecedented 4th straight English top-flight title. On the other hand, Burnley – led by manager Vincent Kompany – return to the Premier League for the first time since 2021-22. Kompany played 11 seasons for Manchester City (2008-19) and won four Premier League titles.

Throughout the 2023-24 season, Premier League coverage will be featured across Telemundo, Universo and Peacock led by host Carlota Vizmanos including the network’s signature pre- and post- shows, La Liga Premier: Extra and 3er Tiempo. Telemundo Deportes’ coverage will continue to closely follow the league’s Hispanic players and managers, focusing on their performance, state and stories through packages, reports and interviews.
