Telemundo presents Spain v England 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup August 20

Telemundo, the exclusive Spanish-language home of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™, presents coverage of a historic Final featuring two teams who have reached the championship for the first time. Coverage of Spain vs. England begins on Sunday, August 20 starting at 5 a.m. ET with the Final match kicking-off at 6 a.m. ET LIVE on Telemundo, Universo and Peacock.

The in-venue announce team will be led by Hall of Famer, seven-time Emmy award-winner Andres Cantor with analysis by former Mexican National Team and Chivas player Manuel Sol and professional soccer coach Natalia Astrain for both the Final match. The host team will join the announce team at Australia Stadium with Ana Jurka and Carlota Vizmanos from Telemundo Deportes’ hosting platform and Miguel Gurwitz and Carlos Yustis on the pitch. Supporting both teams from Telemundo Center are Copan Alvarez, Diana Rincon, Isabella Echeverri, and Maxi Rodriguez alongside Referee Lucila Venegas.

The Third-Place match features host-country Australia as it concludes its remarkable participation throughout the tournament against Sweden on Saturday, August 19 at 4 a.m. ET on Telemundo, Universo and Peacock. The announce team will include Copan Alvarez, Daniella Lopez-Guajardo, and Eduardo Biscayart, with support from Andres, Manuel, and Natalia.

Telemundo’s landmark FIFA World Cup show, Hoy en La Copa, will air before the Final match at 5 a.m. ET with participation of all hosts from Sydney. Following the final match, Telemundo Deportes’ Homenaje al Campeón /Homage to the Champion features the trophy ceremony, wraps up the action of the competition, recaps the best moments and highlights the journey of the winning team.
