Telemundo Puerto Rico to air “JUNTOS SOMOS GRANDES”

Telemundo Puerto Rico/WKAQ-TV will air “Together We Are Great” (Juntos Somos Grandes), a live, three-hour special program on Thursday, September 20 at 7 PM ET to pay tribute to the strength and resiliency of Puerto Ricans, one year after Hurricane Maria made landfall in the island.

Featuring musical performances by Puerto Rican artists including Lucecita Benitez, Roy Brown, Tito Auger, Hermes Croatto, and Cuco Peña, this special program will also spotlight Puerto Ricans efforts to rebuild their lives and how communities worked together after individuals faced insurmountable challenges including the loss of homes, power and water, displacement and lack of food and other essential needs. The program will also feature how people across the island continue to work tirelessly to rebuild their lives, neighborhoods and the island.
