Telemundo announced its programming schedule for the week beginning May 5, 2003. Only on Telemundo will viewers find news stories and a lot of sports action.
Noticiero Telemundo – with Pedro Sevcec and Ana Patricia Candiani – (Monday through Friday, 6:30PM and 11:00PM ET/PT) will begin a three-week series entitled “Que Onda”. Every Tuesday, beginning on May 6th, Reporter Alfonso De Anda will introduce some of the things young people are talking about. Find out on “Los Nuevos Deportes” the most dangerous, most exciting and most fun sports young people enjoy today. That same week, continuing her trip throughout the country, correspondent Angie Sandoval visits Kentucky, Ohio and Alabama to present to Telemundo viewers those cities that were mostly Anglo but these days are experiencing an increase of Hispanic immigrants.
On Thursday, May 8th, Telemundo’s Rumbo al Mundial will air La Revancha – the match between United States and Mexico soccer teams LIVE from Houston, Texas at 8pm ET/7pm CT/5pm PT.
The Budweiser Boxing Series continues on Saturday, May 10 LIVE coast-to-coast from Temecula, California 2:30 ET/1:30pm CT/11:30am PT.
Discover the surfers’ secrets and the incredible adventures in the spectacular forest El Yunque when Ritmo Deportivo (Sunday, May 11 at 3pm) travels to the Enchantment Island of Puerto Rico.
