Telemundo surrounds Super Bowl LVI with comprehensive, multiplatform coverage from Los Angeles leading up to the exclusive, Spanish-language presentation of Super Bowl LVI featuring the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Feb. 13 on Telemundo and Universo, and streamed on TelemundoDeportes.com and the Telemundo Deportes app.

With multiple sets throughout the city and inside SoFi Stadium, Telemundo will deploy a line-up of the network’s news and entertainment shows to enhance its programming originated onsite. Super Bowl Week’s coverage will include a full slate of ongoing news and updates by the network’s top news, entertainment and sports on-air talent, reporters and analysts on the ground. Coverage culminates with Super Bowl Sunday marking the first time ever a Super Bowl is televised on a Spanish-language broadcast network in the U.S.

The network’s presence onsite kicks off with En Casa con Telemundo live from Plaza Mexico starting this Wednesday airing at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET on weekdays with hosts Ana Jurka and Carlos Adyan. On Sunday, a Super Bowl special Fiesta del Super Bowl LVI, En Casa Con Telemundo airs live from coast to coast at 2 p.m. ET with Carlos Adyan and Alix Aspe from Plaza Mexico and Jorge Bernal in Miami.

In addition, the network’s morning show Hoy Dia, its award-winning daily news show Noticias and top magazine news show Al Rojo Vivo will originate from Los Angeles. On Saturday and Sunday, Telemundo’s late-night sports news and entertainment show Zona Mixta will be produced from the main set with SoFi Stadium as backdrop, airing at 11:30 p.m. ET.

An elite team of the network’s top on-air talent, sports commentators and analysts will be onsite anchoring ongoing coverage from the main set within SoFi Stadium. Coverage will be led by Emmy-Award winner, Miguel Gurwitz, along with Ana Jurka, Karim Mendiburu and special guest, former player with the Arizona Cardinals, Rolando Cantu. Carlos Mauricio Ramirez will serve as play-by-play and Jorge Andres will provide game analysis along with Cantu. Ariana Figuera will be reporting from the field.

ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING & CONTENT

As part of the complete coverage, Telemundo will offer ongoing content originating from Los Angeles covering all aspects of the week, including Super Bowl game previews and expert analysis around matchup, players, coaches and special interviews. Alfredo Lomeli and Ivana Rojas will report from NFL Fan Sone and Tailgate Party, and Karim Mendiburu will present the Best of NFL Experience, featuring interviews with former NFL players.

In addition, Telemundo will provide coverage of Super Bowl events and activities relevant to Hispanic audiences, such as the Hispanic Heritage Youth Sports Awards and the NFL Play Football 2022 Festival, among others highlighted below:

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY COVERAGE

Super Bowl Sunday’s sports programming starts with a Premier League doubleheader, featuring Tottenham vs. Wolverhampton with a pregame show at 8:30 a.m. ET and match kickoff at 8:55 a.m. ET. Leicester City vs. West Ham to follow with the pregame show at 11 a.m. ET and match kickoff at 11:30 a.m. ET. Coverage wraps up with a 30-minute postgame show at 1:30 p.m. ET. All airing on Telemundo and streamed on TelemundoDeportes.com and the Telemundo Deportes app.

At 2 p.m. ET, the Super Bowl Sunday celebration and pregame coverage begins from Plaza Mexico with the Super Bowl special Fiesta del Super Bowl, En Casa con Telemundo which will lead into the pregame show starting at 5 p.m. ET, featuring analysis and debates ahead of the game as well as highlights around NFL’s commitment to serving the Latino fan. In addition, legendary soccer commentator Andres Cantor will make a special appearance on the set.
