Telemundo & Universe to broadcast “PREMIOS PLATINO”

Telemundo and Universo announced an exclusive agreement under which they will be the official broadcasters for the 12th edition of the prestigious Premios PLATINO, the international awards for Spanish and Portuguese-language cinema and series, which will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from Madrid. The nominations for this upcoming edition will be announced on Friday, March 14, 2025.
“We are happy to provide the Latin community in the United States access to the Premios PLATINO gala, which showcases the audiences’ most beloved artists and talent,” said Sandra Smester, Executive Vice President of Programming and Content Development at Telemundo. “Premios PLATINO reinforces our commitment to offering top-notch entertainment and celebrating industry talent, both in front of and behind the cameras.”

Coverage on Telemundo and Universo will include the exclusive broadcast of Premios PLATINO in the United States, as well as exclusive content, interviews with nominees, and the artists’ arrival on the red carpet.
