Telemundo39 Dallas-Fort Worth win at 12th Annual Lone Star Emmys

The Lone Star Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded Telemundo39 / KXTX during the 12th annual awards gala held on Saturday, October 25 at the Bayou City Music Theater in Houston.

Telemundo39 received eight Emmy awards, including: “Best On-Camera Talent – News Anchor” and “Investigative Report – Series” for their “Crisis En La Frontera” coverage.

Both stations were recognized for excellence in investigative reporting with wins in key categories:

Investigative Report – Single Story
“Adolescents, The New Recruits Of The Drug Cartels” (KXTX)

Investigative Report – Series
“Crisis En La Frontera” (KXTX)

On-Camera Talent – Anchor – Weather
Nestor Flecha – Weather Craft (KXTX)
