Telemundo52 commemorates Mexico’s Bicentennial.

Telemundo 52, Telemundo’s flagship station in Los Angeles, presents Fiestas Patrias 2010, a special celebration to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Mexico’s independence and the 100th anniversary of its Revolution. The two-day festival will pay tribute to Mexican history and the pride and tradition of the Mexican community in Southern California. The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 18th and 19th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Placita Olvera in downtown Los Angeles. Admission is free for the event, which will feature a variety of entertainment for all members of the family.
Fiestas Patrias 2010 will include special appearances by Telemundo’s “El Clon” leading actress, Sandra Echevarria, and other Telemundo stars. The public will also have the opportunity to meet Telemundo 52’s personalities, including Ruben Luengas, Azalea Iñiguez and Ericka Pino, among others.
During the two-day event, Telemundo 52 will unite the Hispanic community in a celebration filled with fun activities, traditional food kiosks, exhibitions, a children’s play area, and live music and entertainment for the entire family.
