Telemundo’s ‘Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste’ celebrates 10th Anniversary.

Telemundo’s news magazine “Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste” is celebrating its 10th anniversary with two weeks of special programming starting Monday, April 30 through Friday, May 11 (5:00 p.m. ET/PT, 4:00 p.m. CT). Anniversary segments will feature highlights from the best moments of the decade-long show, together with special appearances by top Hispanic celebrities such as Alejandra Guzmán, Sofía Vergara, Ricky Martin, David Bisbal, Pepe Aguilar, Jenni Rivera, José José, Gerardo Ortiz, Espinoza Paz, Enrique Iglesias and Romeo.

“‘Al Rojo Vivo” is celebrating a decade delivering a daily dosage of news and entertainment that has become indispensable for Hispanics all around the country,” said Alina Falcon, Executive Vice President of News and Alternative Programming. “Its innovative format, captivating stories and emphasis on the human dimension of news, have made of ‘Al Rojo Vivo’ an essential part of our community.”

Special anniversary segments will include “Only on Al Rojo Vivo,” featuring the best from the revealing interviews that have shaped “Al Rojo Vivo´s” unique and entertaining style; “Making a Difference,” presenting people whose lives have undergone a profound change after being profiled in the program; as well as “Top Ten Countdowns,” presenting rankings with unforgettable flashes from past shows.

In addition, iconic architectural U.S. landmarks like the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, the San Francisco Pier, the Freedom Tower in Miami and the Angel of Plaza México in Los Angeles will be illuminated in red to honor “Al Rojo Vivo” throughout the celebrations.
