Telemundo’s Billboard Latin Music Awards delivers ….

Telemundo Communications Group announced its results for the Billboard Latin Music Awards airing on Thursday, April 10th. According to Nielsen Media Research data, Premios Billboard reached 5.5 million unique or unduplicated viewers (Persons 2 plus) during the telecast, growing 1 million over last year.
Premios Billboard’s program rating among total viewers (Persons 2 plus) averaged over 2 million (2,034,000), setting a new NTI record for the Awards show and gaining plus13% vs. prior year (1,801,000). The show had its best performance in NTI, increasing plus10% vs. the 2007 Awards show (527,000 vs. 481,000), among Men 18-49. Premios Billboard was also Telemundo’s #1 primetime special this broadcast season among Women 18-49, Women 18-34 and Persons 2 plus.
Premios Billboard averaged 1,096,000 A18-49, marking the Award show’s strongest performance since entering the NTI measurement.
Locally, Premios Billboard ranked # 1 in NY and Chicago among 18-49 and in Miami among households according to NSI data.
