Telemundo’s ‘Desperados’ In Dallas.

The Dallas Desperados announced that KXTX, the local Telemundo 39 station, will air a 30-minute weekly program featuring the franchise entering its second year in the Arena Football League (AFL).

“We are very excited to reach out to Telemundo’s viewers through this agreement by airing a program on Friday’s at 10:30 AM,” Anderson stated. “When we look at the diversity of our city and the importance the Hispanic community holds to us, it is an excellent opportunity demonstrating that a Desperados game is an affordable event for the entire family in any language. With a game day radio broadcast in Spanish and now, a 30-minute weekly program, the Desperados en Español is a reality.”

Adding to his play-by-play in Spanish duties, veteran broadcaster Victor Villalba will host the weekly show. Considering the time slot, the program promises to have interesting segments for fans to better understand the arena game, along with the frenetic action that characterizes a league that enters its 17th season.
