Telemundo’s ‘Frecuencia’ honored by National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Telemundo’s weekend show Frecuencia was honored by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences with a Suncoast Regional Emmy Award in the category of Magazine Program for its episode filmed in Oaxaca, Mexico. The announcement was made at the 2006 Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards ceremony held in the Eden Roc Resort and Spa in Miami Beach. The Suncoast chapter is one of twenty National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences chapters, which recognize excellence in all the regional television markets.
Frecuencia is the dynamic Latin music countdown show, produced by Estefan Television Productions for the Telemundo Network under the executive direction of Grammy Award-winner Emilio Estefan. The hit show, hosted by Gloria Aura, features top Latin Billboard music videos, the latest fashion news, celebrity gossip, trends and Mexican urban culture every Saturday at 12:30PM EST/PST.
