Televisa to sell Univision – don’t expect them to be left out.

According to documents filed with the SEC, Televisa will sell its share in Univision.

But the new group buying Univision Communications is astute and knows that they cannot make a long-term go at the managing and expanding the network without Televisa.

Expect Televisa involved in a major way in the near future. Televisa and the consortium of Madison Dearborn Partners, Providence Equity Partners, Texas Pacific Group, Thomas H. Lee Partners, and Saban Capital Group know this fact.
