TelevisaUnivision Announces Univision Ad Sales Executive Appointments

TelevisaUnivision Inc. announced the hiring of new talent to join Univision’s ad sales team. The company welcomes Rob McGovern, Senior Vice President of Multimedia Sales, and Richard Bertodatti, Senior Vice President of Multimedia and Audience Sales who will report to John Kozack, Executive Vice President of Multimedia Sales.

Rob McGovern, Senior Vice President of Multimedia Sales, is appointed to lead the West Coast National Sales efforts, overseeing the sales efforts for that region. Previously to joining Univision, McGovern was the SVP, National Sales & Client Partnerships at Outfront Media, where he led West Coast national ad sales and the development of revenue growth strategies to drive new OOH business. With a seasoned career of over 25 years, McGovern was also SVP, Sales & Client Partnerships at WarnerMedia where he successfully drove advertising revenue across linear, digital, mobile, VOD, OTT, branded content, and created demand for data-informed audience target deals. He also spent nine years at Discovery Networks as VP, National Sales Manager, where he created strategic partnership opportunities for top national brands, and as National Sales Director, Discovery Digital, lead digital ad sales efforts.

Richard Bertodatti, Senior Vice President, Multimedia and Audience Sales, has joined Univision to lead the business with Publicis, IPG, Havas, the Boston territory, among other agencies and work with Univision’s multimedia sales teams to help optimize and accelerate the advanced advertising sales capabilities. Bertodatti joins TelevisaUnivision from Facebook where he was Director of Global Investment Programs, focused on video and sponsorship opportunities. He previously spent six years at ViacomCBS, as VP ViacomCBS Vantage to build and drive the data advertising sales and strategy team, and was VP for Nickelodeon 360, where he executed sales and marketing solutions for the popular kids and family suite of networks and platforms. He also worked at Conde Nast Entertainment, as Head of Video Sales, and Google, where he focused on Advertising Sales, Marketing, New Business Development, Agency Business Development across all of Google’s TV and Video platforms. He started his career at NBCU where he held various sales roles during his 12-year tenure, across various network, digital and cable properties.
