Tendencia M: Perfil del Hombre Puertorriqueño Moderno.

As part of the activities of the third Asociación de Ejecutivos de Ventas y Mercadeo de Puerto Rico (SME) convention, a study titled Tendencia M: Perfil del hombre Puertorriqueño moderno will be presented. This presentation will take place on Saturday October 30th at 10 am at the Westin Rio Mar Beach.

The study was a collaboration between ACNielsen and the Programa de Escuela Graduada de Administración de Empresas de la Universidad del Turabo, will analyze the life style of the Puertorican man of today contributes to changes in the marketplace. The objectives of this study is to better understand how the Puertorican man has changes his lifestyle and why; what has motivated him to do so and what he does to achieve this change.

Data for the study was collected through focus groups and interviews with professional men between the ages of 25 to 34 years of age. This demographic target represents a clear profile of the male Puertorican population, whose socio-economic levels allows him to have access to a different and modern lifestyle.

The study will be part of the global ACNielsen study known as “What’s Hot Around the Globe”. This study will demonstrate the reasons why the modern man has more tendencies to take care of their personal appearance, factors that have influenced the change in lifestyle and the products they consume.
