Terra launches countdown to Atom Project.

Terra is counting down to the January 7, 2009 debut of its Atom Project with a one-month rollout campaign. The Atom Project will evolve Terra’s platform to fit the needs of contemporary Internet users, introducing its audience of 60 million to a new interactive component on the seventh day of every month throughout 2009. With the Atom Project, Terra will gather in a single place the most relevant professional and amateur content, in a way that is totally transparent for Internet user. The campaign leading up to the launch of the Atom Project features seven elements, including multimedia advertisements, a one-minute introductory video and other teasers. The initiative is designed to ignite curiosity and create expectations throughout the 18 countries where Terra has a presence, including the United States and Latin America

The Atom Project places Terra in the third generation of digital media. “We are building a new internet experience,” said Fernando Madeira, general director of Terra Latin America. “Terra will become the natural destination to find out what is happening around the planet, anywhere people are. It’s a new way to see the world.”
