Terra.com Sr. Editor Nominated For Coveted Hispanic Media 100 Award.

Terra announced the nomination of its senior editor & producer, Magdalena Spinelli, to the Hispanic Media 100 Awards. The awards dinner will honor journalists and media executives who represent the highest ideals and execution of Spanish-language journalism. Final winners will be announced in Miami on August 23rd at a gala dinner among industry and the media professionals at the Biscayne Bay Marriott.
The awards are the first ever and serve to recognize and acknowledge the increasing role of Hispanic writers in the United States, addressing US audiences. “At Terra.com we are focused on creating top quality news and editorial content for our users. Ms. Spinelli’s nomination to the Top 100 Media Awards is an honor for us,”said Manuel Bellod, CEO Terra Networks USA.
Ms. Spinelli who joined Terra Lycos as Senior Editor eighteen months ago, is responsible for the content and general publication of various channels of Terra.com. She also oversees the production of special events. Prior to joining Terra.com, Ms. Spinelli was reporting for CNN en Español, in Italy. She also was an assignment editor and a producer for Telenoticias del Mundo in Florida and New York.
