THE 2023 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS ON TELEMUNDO

Billboard and Telemundo announced the first group of Latin music stars set to perform at the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards. The star-studded ceremony will feature Calibre 50, Chiquis, El Alfa, Eladio Carrión, Justin Quiles, Los Ángeles Azules, Manuel Turizo, Marshmello, Myke Towers, Peso Pluma, Tini and Yandel.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards is Latin music’s longest running, and most prestigious awards show. The ceremony will broadcast LIVE on Telemundo October 5, starting at 7pm/6c from Miami, Florida. The show will also air simultaneously on the Hispanic entertainment cable channel, Universo, Peacock, the Telemundo App, and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional.

The unforgettable evening will feature performances by some of the biggest names in Latin music:

  • Calibre 50, the emblematic regional Mexican group will appear with new members and songs and compete for Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Duo or Group.
  • El Alfa, one of the most beloved urban music artists, will perform at the awards ceremony as a prelude to his new U.S. tour, “La Leyenda del Dembow” (The Legend of Dembow.)
  • Los Ángeles Azules, the iconic Mexican cumbia group, will be honored with the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award and are finalists for Tropical Artist of the Year, Duo or Group.
  • Manuel Turizo, the new urban sensation is a finalist for four awards, among them the new Global 200 Latin Song of the Year category with “La Bachata.”
  • Myke Towers, the multi-platinum Puerto Rican star, is gearing up for his new tour “La Vida Es Una,” after celebrating the impressive success of his song “LaLa” which topped Billboard’s Global chart.
  • Tini, the renowned Argentinean artist is a finalist in the Latin Pop Album of the Year category for Cupido and currently prepares for her first U.S. tour, “Tini Tour 2023,” to launch at the end of October.
  • Yandel, one of the most popular urban artists in Latin music, is a finalist for Latin Airplay Song of the Year, and Latin Rhythm Song of the Year for his song “Yandel 150” with Feid; and along with Wisin is competing for Latin Rhythm Artist of the Year, Duo or Group.

Performing for the first time on the Billboard Latin Music Awards stage are:

  • Chiquis, the singer-songwriter and entrepreneur will join other artists on stage for a special tribute to her mother, 10 years after her untimely death.
  • Eladio Carrión, the Puerto Rican trap-reggaeton singer is celebrating the success of “Sauce Boyz Fest” and his latest studio production 3MEN2 KBRN, a finalist in the Latin Rhythm Album of the Year category.
  • Justin Quiles, the Puerto Rican singer, and songwriter currently prepares for his first U.S. tour titled “Niveles,” which will kick off mid-October.
  • Marshmello, the American DJ and producer who has released various collaborations with prominent Latin artists, is a finalist for two awards, including Crossover Artist of the Year.
  • Peso Pluma, the regional Mexican star is the top finalist for 21 awards, including Artist of the Year and Hot Latin Song of the Year for “Ella Baila Sola.”
