Tippit & Moo Names David Flynn General Manager

Tippit & Moo, a full-service independent advertising agency based in Houston, has appointed David Flynn, Jr. as its new General Manager. A seasoned and widely renowned analytical and strategic authority in the industry, Flynn will lead the highly awarded team at Tippit & Moo, whose premier clients include Fiesta Mart, Inc., Sonic Drive-Ins, Gabbanelli Accordions, Michaels Stores, Professional Sports Partners, Universal Technical Institute, InComm, and Zadok Jewelers, among others.

Prior to joining Tippit & Moo, Flynn was Marketing Director at Novamex, where he led advertising strategies for leading brands such as Jarritos and Sidral Mundet. Flynn also founded and built the largest Hispanic media buying company of its kind, Amistad Media Group. His career, which spans over 25 years, includes the unusual achievement of successfully taking an established Hispanic icon, Jarritos, and crossing it over into the general market, as well as pioneering a groundbreaking methodology for measuring communication to the market in a multi-channel environment at Amistad Media Group. Flynn also served as VP/Media Director at GSD&M in Austin, Texas, where he led a team that crafted media strategies and buys for such blue-chip clients as the Coors Brewing Co., Walmart, and The Texas Lottery. Flynn has also created and executed digital, social, direct and experiential media strategies for clients, including The U.S. Army, JC Penney, Domino’s Pizza, Jarritos, and Chili’s Grill and Bar, just to name a few.   

Flynn will work directly with the energetic Tippit & Moo team to further expand the agency’s growing list of clientele and services and to deepen its strategic prowess.
