TMG Television Productions Launches In Miami.

Paolo Sadri, President of TMG Films, announced that the company has formed TMG Television Productions, a full service, independent production company with a primary focus on developing high-quality television programming in both English and Spanish. The company is based in Miami with offices in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. The launching of TMG Television Productions is in response to cultural trends in the market of reality-based television programming and is an integral addition to the already successful film operation.

TMG Television Productions has already begun pre-production on two reality television shows, including “South Beach — Night Life,” which will depict the exciting, provocative and competitive world of the South Beach club circuit, and “Heavenly Match,” television’s hottest new reality dating show, which is interactive with a live viewing audience. Other projects in development include “Just Talk,” a talk show hosted by Mario Lopez in both English and Spanish, “Model’s Life,” a reality show about the modeling industry, and “Defense,” based on real attorneys litigating high-profile cases.

Sadri is the executive producer of the much-anticipated upcoming film “King of Clubs” (based on the true story of Chris Paciello and best-selling book “Mob Over Miami”). Sadri is also co-producer for Spike Lee’s upcoming film “Goal” and producer of “Box Marley.”

Mario Lopez has an extensive list of credits, which include “Saved by the Bell,” “Colors,” “The Other Half” and “The Greg Louganis Story.” “I’m excited about working with Paolo,” said Lopez. “I truly believe that, with our collaborations, we can create amazing future projects.” The actor has been in the entertainment industry for over 25 years and will bring his expertise in the industry to the newly formed company.

Sadri also announced that Los Angeles-based 1124 Design Advertising, which has worked with Director Spike Lee on numerous projects, such as “Do the Right Thing,” “He Got Game” and “Malcolm X,” has been added to create the design and advertising campaign for the shows. In addition, Sadri announced that Dr. Talal Munasifi, famed Washington, D.C. plastic surgeon, has been named Vice President of the company and will report directly to Mr. Sadri. Under Lopez and Sadri’s leadership, TMG Television Productions looks to flourish in this constantly growing industry.

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Mario previously on a number of projects,” said Sadri. “He is an incredibly skilled and talented actor and producer with unmatched passion and artistic vision in the business. I look forward to working with Mario as we create a successful partnership and many exciting future projects.”
