Top 7 Creative Directors From US Hispanic Agencies To Share Insights.

Daniel Marrero, founding partner at CreativeOndemanD will moderate “The Magnificent Seven: Taking Hispanic Advertising to the Next Level with Revolutionary Ideas” – a panel discussion to be held next Tuesday, January 25 at 3:30 PM at the Wyndham Miami Beach Resort Hotel in which this country’s top seven Creative Directors from Hispanic agencies will share their provocative insights into how they approach the business.

Marrero was invited to selected the topic, invite the panelists, and serve as panel moderator by the Strategic Research Institute, who will host the panel discussion at its 11th Annual Marketing to Hispanics and Latin America Conference. Regarding topic selection, Marrero said, “When it’s all said and done, the biggest responsibility lies upon the shoulders of Creative Directors, for their work is ultimately what touches consumers. Having this country’s top Creative talent share their points of view on how to best reach the Hispanic market will be of tremendous value to the audience and will make for quite an interesting discussion.”

Marrero has invited the following Creative Directors to participate, selected due to their solid track record and experience in reaching the Hispanic market effectively and creatively: Aldo Quevedo, from Dallas’s Dieste Harmel & Partners, Priscilla Cortizas, from Miami’s C.O.D, Mauricio Galvan, from New York’s Vidal Partnership, Luis Miguel Messianu, from Miami’s drmDDB, Sergio Alcocer, from Austin’s Latinworks, Elias Weinstock, from LA’s Casanova Pendrill, and Hector Prado, from Miami’s Zubi Advertising.

In exploring what Creative seems to work best for the Hispanic market, Marrero and the group will address topics such as: “stereotypes vs. insights: obstacles to creating great Creative in Spanish, and “how to sell clients on Hispanic ideas that don’t necessarily translate,” in which the group will explore the best ways of explaining cultural nuances that might not be as applicable in the U.S., but that work well for Hispanics. Attending the panel discussion will be an audience of Fortune 100 industry professionals and Marketers from around the world.

This will be the second year that the Conference organizers incorporate a Creative Panel into the program. Last year’s panel, also hosted by Marrero, focused on Hispanic Crossover Advertising, a field that C.O.D has expertise in, with his Hispanic Volkswagen and DISH Network work.
