Top Brands Sponsor MTV Video Music Awards Latin America.

MTV Networks Latin America announced today a stellar sponsorship lineup for its fourth annual “MTV Video Music Awards Latin America,” with the return of Coca-Cola, Motorola, and HP as official sponsors. This is the fourth consecutive year that Coca-Cola participates in the event and the second consecutive year for Motorola and HP. The VMALAs 2005 will broadcast from the Great Tlachco Theater in Xcaret, Playa del Carmen in the Mexican Caribbean, on Thursday, October 20th at 10:00 p.m. ET (10:00 p.m. México and 11:00 p.m. Argentina and Chile).

The event will air on MTV Latin America to more than 24 countries and it will be seen on MTV channels around the world, including MTV, MTV2, MTV Puerto Rico and MTV Español in the US, reaching 80 million households; as well as on MTVs in Asia (India, Thailand and Singapore), MTV Australia, MTV Brazil, MTV Canada, MTV France, MTV Italy, MTV Japan, MTV Portugal, MTV Spain and MTV UK, reaching a potential 418 million households. Additionally, select terrestrial outlets in Latin America will carry the show, with a potential reach of 36 million households. These include: ‘City TV’ in Colombia, ‘Televisa’ in Mexico, ‘Teleantilles’ in the Dominican Republic, ‘Ecuavisa’ in Ecuador, ‘Megavision’ in El Salvador, ‘Telered’ in Honduras, ‘Medcom’ in Panama, and ‘RCTV’ in Venezuela.

All “MTV Video Music Awards Latin America 2005” sponsors will have presence in the show’s tags, banners, on-air spots, and on the network’s website MTVla.com. Additionally, sponsors will run local promotions to bring fans from around the region to experience the show live.
