MásMúsica TeVe Network announced the appointment of Elisa Torres as new VP of Distribution.

“Elisa brings astonishing credentials to this position as she’s recognized within the Hispanic broadcast community as one of the most experienced professionals in media affiliation in the United States,” says Eduardo Caballero, CEO. “We’re very excited to have her onboard.”

In this newly created position, Ms. Torres will be responsible for signing up new broadcast affiliates for MásMúsica TeVe and expanding the network’s presence to over 80% of U.S. Hispanic households, creating and growing an affiliate relations and syndication department, in addition to securing cable and direct broadcast satellite distribution and carriage.

Ms. Torres began her career in media in 1994 with Caracol Television Network in Miami, the most important TV network in Colombia. In 1996, she joined Latino Broadcasting Company, where she spent the past nine years of her professional career. As Affiliate Relations Director at LBC, Ms. Torres obtained outstanding results in affiliate sales by providing unique and compelling content for more than 120 Hispanic radio stations across the United States.
