Líderes Entertainment Group Inc., an affiliate of Grupo Cisneros and Telefonica Media, has teamed up with industry veterans Allen Bloom and Douglas Logan of Total Compass Entertainment LLC to form a new entertainment company focused on producing live family entertainment for Hispanic audiences in the United States and, ultimately, all Spanish-speaking countries.
Total Compass Entertainment recently selected al Punto Advertising Inc., a Southern California-based full-service Hispanic marketing agency, to help in the development of marketing and promotional efforts behind these new, one-of-a-kind Latin entertainment events.
“al Punto clearly demonstrated their Hispanic consumer insights, related experience and key insights in Latino entertainment, integrated marketing capabilities and a passion for working on our business. We look forward to working with them to successfully market our show,” states Eric Holmlund, V.P. of Total Compass Entertainment.
al Punto Advertising was selected as agency of record following an agency review that included 12 contenders nationwide. The agency will handle the show’s strategic planning, national media planning and national creative development. The agency will also be handling media placement for most Western U.S. markets.
“We are thrilled with this win; it is directly in line with our unique experience in entertainment for Hispanics,” says Peggy Goff, President and Director of Strategic Planning at al Punto Advertising, “and besides, it’s simply going to be fun to work on these unique shows.”
“This is the first time that a major entertainment company is presenting live, family-style entertainment with a focus on Hispanic culture,” said Allen Bloom, Total Compass Entertainment chairman and a former Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey senior executive. Company president Doug Logan, a former Major League Soccer commissioner and OCESA chief executive, explained, “The shows will be created, produced, and staffed by accomplished professionals. We intend to offer modern, cutting-edge productions that truly represent the diversity of the Hispanic culture and appeal to Hispanic audiences in the United States as well as Latin America.”
