The Toyota Grand Prix Of Long Beach @ Radiovisa.

Radiovisa announced their live coverage of the 31st Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 10, 2005. In a new agreement with Champ Car, Radiovisa will carry as many as 5 race events in 2005. All of the live racing action will air on the Radiovisa network including the company’s owned and operated affiliate, Radiovisa 830 AM KMXE Los Angeles. The weekend coverage includes a live broadcast of Saturday’s qualifying beginning at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time along with the live flag-to-flag coverage of Sunday’s race.

“The Toyota Grand Prix draws thousands of Hispanics to Long Beach each year,” said Ray De La Garza, COO of Radiovisa Corporation. “Champ Car racing is a huge sporting event in the Hispanic community and we’re thrilled to make it even more accessible to the broader U.S. Hispanic population. We hope for this to be only the first of many Champ Car races we can bring to our listeners.”

“We are pleased to have Radiovisa as part of our broadcast team and we look forward to a great response from our Hispanic fans,” said Champ Car President Dick Eidswick. “We have taken many steps this year to increase our presence in the Hispanic community and we believe that having our events on radio will play a strong role in that.”
