TuTv LLC, a joint venture of Grupo Televisa, S.A.B and Univision Communications Inc., and Comcast Corporation announced they have reached an agreement to make the TuTv networks available for distribution to Comcast systems nationwide. TuTv networks De Película, De Película Clásico, Telehit, Ritmoson Latino and Bandamax will be included in Comcast’s national feed of Spanish-language channels via the Comcast Media Center in Denver. The networks will be part of the Super Cable Latino package and will launch initially in Chicago and Boston early this summer.
“To have Comcast select all of our channels for their Spanish-language customers is a testament to the quality programming available on TuTv networks,” said Chris Fager, president of TuTv. “TuTv has the unique ability to combine the marketing power of its partners, Univision and Televisa, with the viewer demand generated by the five channels’ extensive distribution and solid ratings in Latin America.”
