TuTv partners with e-Music.

TuTv, the Televisa and Univision joint venture that distributes Spanish-language cable networks De Película, De Película Clásico, Telehit, Ritmoson Latino and Bandamax, is teaming up with eMusic.

TuTv and e-Music will combine efforts to drive Hispanic digital television subscriptions for all TuTv’s cable and satellite distributors.

eMusic will provide 50 free music downloads to every new TuTv subscriber, while TuTv will support the effort with multiplatform marketing materials and production of on-air spots.

“Our goal at TuTv is to support our clients with marketing promotions that drive their subscriber growth. Partnering with eMusic is a perfect fit for our lifestyle and music channels which target young Latino viewers who are also avid Internet users,” said Ariela Nerubay, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for TuTv.

“We’re excited to partner with TuTv and have the opportunity to introduce their audience to eMusic,” said Chris Hoerenz, Chief Marketing Officer of eMusic. “eMusic’s universally compatible digital music appeals to a wide variety of consumers that are interested in exploring music outside the commercial mainstream, and we’re progressively expanding our marketing partnerships to include a broad range of tastemakers.”
