Two New Hosts Drop Into The Drop @ Sí TV.

Jonisha Rios and José Antonio will join returning hosts Jelynn Rodriguez, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Jr. and resident DJs Romeo and DeJai, a.k.a. “Tha Goodfellas,” L.A.’s Power 106 top-rated drive-time personalities, on the set of Sí TV’s The Drop to give viewers a special insider sneak-peek into today’s hot Latin and urban culture. This season, The Drop kicks it up a notch with guest appearances from such smash acts as Yerba Buena, Guerilla Black, Cuban Link, Jae P, and Pitbull.

Chosen as one of Cosmopolitan en espanol’s 2004 Hunks, José Antonio’s career got a boost after he landed an exclusive interview with singer Enrique Iglesias for Primer Impacto. Since then the 26-year-old Cuban-American has hosted Cartelera Pepsi, Latin Access, and recently wrapped up taping as Alex Quintana on Univision’s first dramatic series, Al Filo De La Ley.

Jonisha, a commuter who travels between her home town (the Bronx) and her new home in Los Angeles, recently gained critical acclaim for her one-woman, sold-out show, “Nude in New York.” A graduate of The American Music and Dramatic Academy in NYC, Jonisha has written three plays, starred in various independent films, and has written, starred, and co-produced her own sketch comedy TV show.

“These talented actors add a dynamic new level of energy to the show,” says Sí TV Chairman Jeff Valdez. “Jonisha and José Antonio close ties to their Latino and American culture makes them ideal hosts that can represent and connect with our English-dominant Latino and urban viewers.”
