UEFA Champions League Final at Fox Sports en Español.

Fox Sports en Español will air exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the UEFA Champions League, Europe’s most prestigious annual club competition.  The footage will begin Saturday, May 22nd, at 12:30pm ET/9:30AM PT with a pre-event broadcast which will lead into the final match between the two famous club teams FC Bayern München (GER) and FC Internazionale Milano (ITA) at 2:30pm ET/11:30am PT.  The FC Internazionale Milano team is comprised of 8 Latin American players in its starting line-up and has not lifted European Soccer’s most coveted trophy since 1965.  The network will broadcast the match live from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, with commentary and play-by-play analysis by Raul Ovañanos, Omar Tapia, Eduardo Biscayart and Gustavo Mendoza.
 
Along with the Super Bowl, the UEFA Champions League Final is the most watched annual sporting event, drawing over 100 million television viewers globally.  Fox Sports en Español has the exclusive Spanish-language rights to air the game in the United States.

The network will continue its televised programming of 110 live and prime-time UEFA Champions League matches, as well as the Super Cup, through the end of the 2011/12 season, for 14 million cable and satellite households in the U.S.; providing an unprecedented level of tournament coverage in the Hispanic market.
 
Last year, Fox Sports en Español acquired the U.S. Spanish-language media rights to the UEFA Champions League and the yearly UEFA Super Cup match for the 2009/10, 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons.  Fox Sports en Español will also have the rights to broadcast ancillary UEFA Champions League programming, including preview and review shows, archived matches and magazine programs.  The website, www.ChampionsEnFox.com will feature UEFA Champions League video highlights, as will the Fox Sports Móvil offering for video-enabled wireless devices.
