Univision 41 to host ‘Copa Univision San Antonio’.

KWEX Univision 41 will host the fourth annual “Copa Univision San Antonio” soccer tournament and festival taking place on Saturday, June 2 to Sunday, June 3, at the South Texas Area Regional (STAR) Soccer Complex next to Morgan’s Wonderland at Thousand Oaks Drive and Wurzbach Parkway, near the IH 35-Loop 410 interchange in Northeast San Antonio.

As the San Antonio Scorpions pro soccer season heats up, the Scorpions and Univision join together in this annual family oriented soccer tournament and festival with proceeds benefiting “Soccer for a Cause”. “We are excited to continue this partnership with the San Antonio Scorpions and extending Univision’s commitment of entertaining our community beyond the TV with this annual festival,” said Luis Patiño, Sr. Vice President of Univision Television Group. Artists performing at the festival include, Fiebre Colombiana, La Mision Colombiana, Herencia Tropikal, Henry Brun, Karizzia and La Calma.
