Univision Deportes and Lexus partner to deliver digital analysis of Copa America Centenario

Univision Deportes announced a partnership with Lexus to deliver for the first time ever in the U.S. in depth, comprehensive soccer analyses. The sponsorship includes a dedicated Copa America Centenario section on UnivisionDeportes.com which will host sophisticated and detailed Lexus Power Rankings of all teams and players in the tournament and additional content including comprehensive performance and trend analysis by “Zona Técnica.”

The Lexus branded section will be available both as a responsive desktop destination and as a feature in the Univision Deportes mobile app. In addition to team rankings and player rankings that will be updated in real-time throughout the tournament, the section will host editorial content analyzing the performance and highlights of key Copa America Centenario matches. Content will include qualitative articles, engaging slideshows with sophisticated analysis and cutting edge video content.

Copa America Centenario is a highly-anticipated soccer tournament being played for the first time ever in the U.S. for its centennial anniversary. The tournament will run from June 3rd to June 26th and will include a total of 32 matches airing across all of Univision Deportes’ portfolio of networks, including UDN, UniMás and Univision Network.

The opening match of Copa America Centenario will be played in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and will air live on Univision, UniMás and UDN at 9:00 p.m. ET, the first ever three-network simulcast in the history of Spanish language television. For this highly anticipated tournament, UDN will be the 24-hour home of Copa America Centenario. All 32 games will be broadcast live and coverage will include at least two hours of live pre and post-game commentary on UDN. Special editions of live studio shows will air each day of the tournament to ensure that viewers get access to all of the latest Copa America news instantaneously.
