Univision Deportes signs exclusive deal with Publicidad Virtual.

Univision Deportes has entered into an exclusive agreement with Publicidad Virtual that will allow its networks to institute insertion of high resolution creative executions into live coverage of Liga Mexicana matches. MillerCoors, a premiere sponsor of Liga Mexicana programming, is one of the first advertisers on board with Univision Deportes’ virtual advertising.
 
“Our exclusive agreement with Publicidad Virtual provides advertisers like MillerCoors, seamless integration into the action of our Liga Mexicana broadcasts,” said Carlos Deschapelles, senior vice president, Univision Sports Sales. “This cutting edge technology expands on our existing inventory while offering marketers the unique opportunity to advertise contextually during matches.”
 
The virtual insertion of advertisements during Liga Mexicana matches hits across Univision Deportes television platforms: Univision Network, TeleFutura, Galavisión and the new 24/7 network, Univision Deportes, scheduled to launch later this year.
  
Additionally on every Friday, Univision Radio’s national sports talk show “Locura Deportiva” (Sports Madness) features commentary on the latest in Liga Mexicana soccer with Pablo Ramirez and Jesus Bracamontes. Hosted by Rafa Hernandez, the two-hour program can be heard every Monday through Saturday at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT/4 p.m. PT and every Sunday at 5 p.m. ET/4 p.m. CT/2 p.m. PT.
