Univision Digital lunches series “CNCO Evolution”

Univision Digital announced the launch of “CNCO Evolution,” a new web series that tells the story of how the winners from “La Banda” are dealing with their newfound success and how they prepared for the launch of their first album, Primera Cita. The six-episode series presented by Walmart, premieres today on LaBandaOficial.com.
After winning the first season of Univision Network’s music-based reality competition show, “La Banda,” the group of five have become a worldwide phenomenon with songs like “Tan Fácil” and “Quisiera.” “CNCO Evolution” reveals the story of Christopher, Zabdiel, Erick, Richard and Joel, whose dreams were transformed into a reality when they got the chance to embark on a musical career with the support of “La Banda” season one producers Simon Cowell and Ricky Martin. Their diverse backgrounds – from Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and one of Mexican descent who grew up in California– have had a strong influence on their music careers and play an important role in their unique styles.
