Univision in full swing with the Latin GRAMMY Street Parties.

The Latin Recording Academy, Eventus and Univision announce the schedule for the 2008 Latin GRAMMY Street Parties. Currently in its sixth year, the “Street Parties” will kick-off in New Jersey’s historic Bergenline Avenue, off 32nd Street between New York Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard, in Union City. The festivals will continue in Chicago’s Plaza Garibaldi on October 5th; South Florida (West 16th Ave. between 37th & 41st St., Hialeah) on October 12th; Los Angeles (Placita Olvera) on October 19th; wrapping up in Dallas (Jefferson Street between Tyler & North Llewellyn) on October 26th. This month-long celebration highlights the enthusiasm, excellence and diversity of the U.S. Hispanic communities and will culminate with the anticipated 9th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, set for Nov. 13 at Toyota Center in Houston, will be broadcast live on the Univision Network from 8 – 11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central).
