Univision kicks off Univision Deportes Fiestón Liga MX.

Univision Deportes announced it will kick off its Liga MX 2013 Clausura season with a Fiestón on Saturday, January 5 in Los Angeles. The free event, “Univision Deportes Fiestón Liga MX,” will celebrate futbol, family and fun, with an interactive viewing party for the season opening triple-header broadcast on Univision Deportes Network: América vs. Monterey at 3 p.m. PT, followed by Tigres vs. Jaguares at 5 p.m. PT and San Luis vs. Santos at 7 p.m. PT.
Univision Deportes partnered with Coors Light to turn the historic Plaza Mexico into Carnaval Univision – a stadium setting featuring the Coors Light Lounge where fans can enjoy live Latin music and interactive Coors Light activities. This is the first of three events that Coors Light and Univision Deportes will host for soccer fans this year.
The free event will include soccer clinics, four-on-four competitions, autograph sessions with Liga MX players and futboleros showcasing extreme soccer tricks. Univision Deportes Network personalities Alejandro Berry and Jorge Calvo, along with Univision Radio personalities, will bring excitement to fans in attendance through an action-packed taping of “Futbol Central” (Soccer Central) that will include predictions of the upcoming Clausura season, special guests and fan interactions.
