Univision launches Double your Tax Refund Sweepstakes.

Univision Enterprises, a division of Univision Communications Inc. has announced the launch of the “Double your Tax Refund Sweepstakes.” The promotion encourages Univision MasterCard Prepaid cardholders to have their federal and state tax refund money deposited directly onto their card. Cardholders who use the free Direct Deposit feature to receive an annual tax refund of more than $1,000 on the Univision MasterCard Prepaid Card now through April 16 will be automatically entered for a chance to have their tax refund doubled, for up to $3,500.
 
“Direct Deposit is the most convenient, secure and fastest way to receive your personal income tax refund and we hope the ‘Double your Tax Refund Sweepstakes’ will encourage more of our cardholders to take advantage of this convenient benefit through their Univision Prepaid MasterCard Card,” said Scott Scovel, vice president of Univision Direct, Univision Communications Inc. “This campaign reiterates our commitment to empowering the Hispanic community with financial tools and services they can trust.”
 
To launch the national promotion, personal financial advisor Orlando Montiel visited the set of “Despierta America” (Wake-Up America) earlier this week to share the benefits of the Direct Deposit, and the ability for cardholders to get their refunds up to three weeks faster than by check.
