Univision announced the launch of its new branded game show “Arrasa con Todo con Kmart” (Sweep it All with Kmart). Sponsored by Kmart and Goya, the game show features a series of challenges à la supermarket sweeps, centered on the sponsors’ products. “Arrasa con Todo con Kmart” airs on the Univision Television Network on Saturdays at 4pm ET/PT, 3pm CT and is hosted by popular entertainment personality Carlos Calderón.
“‘Arrasa con Todo con Kmart’ is a great example of compelling content produced by Univision Studios that allows us to offer customized opportunities for our partners to engage with Hispanic consumers,” said David Lawenda, president of Advertising Sales and Marketing, Univision Communications Inc.
A Univision Studios production, “Arrasa con Todo con Kmart” consists of three rounds and features four contestants competing in a series of podium challenges in order to win money and gain time on the clock for the sweeps race. Each contestant will play a round for the opportunity to win their respective sweeps and move on to the final super sweep where the winner takes all.
The set looks similar to a Kmart store with branded signage and features Kmart and Goya products. The contestants will face challenges centered on the sponsors’ products and/or brand attributes in either the first, second or final rounds. Among the branded challenges featured include a memory game, deciphering a mystery product and putting together a puzzle of a product such as a Goya condiment. In the sweeps races, the contestants will receive a clue to search for a special Goya product in one sweep, and a featured product from Kmart in another. The super sweep will include the complete store.
