Univision premiered ‘Los Retos de la Adolescencia… Entérate’.

Univision will aired a half-hour special “Los Retos de la Adolescencia… Entérate” (The Challenges of Adolescence… Get the Facts!) hosted by Univision personality Giselle Blondet on Saturday, December 15 (check your local listings for time). As part of Univision’s Peabody award-winning health initiative “Salud es Vida…¡Entérate!” (Lead a Healthy Life…Get the Facts!), this special focused on the challenges parents and guardians face in raising teenagers. Some of the topics include teen pregnancy, alcohol and drug abuse, smoking and bullying.

“Los Retos de la Adolescencia…Entérate” highlighted the essential role communication plays in keeping teens physically and mentally healthy. The program will illustrate how important it is for families to learn to talk to their teens about the life issues they face and help them understand the consequences of their actions.

“Salud es Vida…¡Entérate!” is a national effort designed to raise awareness, increase knowledge and encourage positive health decision-making.
